BOWERS MUSEUM OF CULTURAL ART
The mission of Orange County's largest museum is to display and interpret the fine art of indigenous peoples from the Americas, the Pacific Rim and Africa. The Bowers reopened after a major restoration of the original Spanish mission-style museum which was built in 1932. The permanent exhibitions include pre-Columbian, African, Oceanic, Asian and Native American art, plus historic California artifacts. The Topaz Café and a museum store are also on site.
LAGUNA ART MUSEUM
Inside the museum, the scenery is as breathtaking as the panoramic view outside, with a collection spanning the full history of art in California. Whether you're seeking the challenge of the avant-garde or prefer the pleasures of traditional style, you'll find it at Orange County's oldest cultural institution.
